Mr. Garg has an unmatched track record in empowering farmers through prudent field practices. Being one of the pioneers in extending Agri-extension services in India, Mr. Garg’s vision has made Modesto one of the largest Agri-extension service providers with a large network of professionals working directly with farmers at field level across India through the mode offield trainings and yield demonstrations workshops.

Mr. Ram Avtar Garg has taken charge of Managing Director of the Group in the year 2006.
Under his dynamic stewardship, the Modesto Group has experienced remarkable growth, making Modesto the fastest growing agro chemical company in India. He looks after the key functions of the Group including Revenue Planning, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs. Mr Garg has the academic insight for sound business decisions& also vast knowledge of latest chemical technologies at affordable prices in the Indian agro chemical Industry to his credit. Under his encouraging and strategic guidance, the company has shown all round development Product development, and Extension services.
Mr. Ram Avtar Garg is mostly known for his simplicity, charisma and clarity in thinking and has already earned the respect from various stakeholders, including the farming community, government and advocacy groups.Continuing on the footsteps of a rich legacy, his vision is to empower farmers to make full use of research and technology to increase yield for every field. His long term plans include inorganic growth in India and overseas for agro chemicals, seeds and farm equipment and he looks to organic growth to make each business sustainable and profitable.
